It is creeping....... SD Comic Con is around the corner, are you ready?

Well I am just going over my list of To Do's... My sketchbook WILL be available and I WILL have some new Tshirt designs that are my best yet!! hands down. I have a feeling they will sell out. I am also going to have something a little different this year....I am going to have some custom framed originals and for those who are interested, available for purchase. Luckily I have had a small break in my busy freelance schedule(In addition to my full time job @Fox...) so I am trying to finish a large scale illustration just for the Con...w/that limited quantity large format prints will be available. Lets just hope my time remains clear from here on out so I can complete it in time...... b/c when it rains...it pours..

I will update this journal as we get closer to the day.....and my location ..H5, right next to my buddy Stephen Silver [link] who will also have a new book out.

I totally agree that characters should not be done strictly in isolation. They become more well-rounded and fleshed out when accompanied by an interloper. I'm doing some comics right now and I find my characters reciprocate better than simply drawing them alone. This is also great practice to better understand what your characters are thinking......and how well they're drawn.
