Animal Drawing Weekend Workshop

Well as promised, the first demo from my animal drawing workshop are up on on youtube. This first demo posted is a 2 part series of a quick sketch demo I did in front of the snow leopards @ the LA Zoo. Watch me as I talk through how I capture subjects in movement, addressing landmarks, what I observe on a moving subject and my overall approach to drawing animals from life. Many people have already asked what pen I was using @ the time..it was really whatever I grabbed @ the moment and that was a Prismacolor brush pen that I was given as a free sample. Now b/c I used it in a LIVE video demo should I get more samples from Prismacolor..well I am gonna go with yes! Well enjoy the demos and let me know what you think... more to come in the near future
