For many of those who dont know I did character sculpture for a little while...just a hobby and did teach a couple classes.
I would love to pick it up again..its quite cathartic to work w/your hands.
Anyway, just came across this and it has sparked that love again. This is a personal piece of the Disney character "Stitch" from Lilo and Stitch. I did this as an exercise to see if I could sculpt something on model..did it in about 21 hours..(not @ once though...)
all apologies if I posted this before..but dont think I have.
hey, that's a fantastic bit of sculpting there!! your talents transfer seamlessly from 2d into 3d I see!! I'd love to see more sculpt pictures if you have any, this is really making me want to do some sculpting again too!!
I would have loved to tried modeling but I'm to into character animation to do it though.
The detail on this model is very good! from this angle some of those claws look a little wiggly though.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.

As i was going up the stair,
I met a man who wasn't there,
He wasn't there again today,
Oh how i wish he'd go away.
