Awhile back I posted some field sketches from the ArtisZoo(on my blog www.davicolman.blogspot.com) that I visited while on vacation in Amsterdam. At the end of that day's visit, while sitting atop the window sill overlooking the canal, I did this image of a snow owl at the lunch buffet.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Your design reminds me of the animated movie Rock-a-doodle. Well more specifially The Duke Owl. In the movie when they first introduce him, he has that exact same gaze your owl holds. heh very nice!
